If you love recycling and you love someone special, why not create a romantic hand-made Valentine card that incorporates a recycled coffee sleeve for its basic structure?
This Valentine card is made using a recycled sleeve from a Starbucks coffee. It's covered with Valentine-themed papers and decorated with an ILOVEU Sentiment and a red button.
If you use paper that is lightly colored, you will be able to write your hand written Valentine's Day message inside.
Supplies Needed
- 1 coffee sleeve
- Valentine themed paper, using two or three designs. Scrapbook paper works well, but you could also use Valentine gift wrap or any other paper with suitable colors and images.
- 1 button or rhinestone for trim
- An "I Love U" sentiment created freehand, or computer generated or cut using a die cut. The ILOVEU shape shown in the picture was cut using the Cricut Electronic Die Cutting Machine and the Mini Monogram cartridge.
Tools
